Uiwang Medical Complex

Erom Group is developing a Smart Healing Convergent Medical Residential Complex in Baegun Valley, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi Province, centered around the city’s first general hospital.

Love Hospital (Director Dr. Hwang Sung-joo) will be built as a next-generation smart hospital with an emergency medical system and 250 beds.

Through an integrated medical complex closely connected to a senior residence, the project will establish a new healthcare ecosystem where treatment, prevention, wellness, and living are organically linked.

The hospital will span six basement levels and ten floors above ground, with a total floor area of 33,227㎡, and will operate 15 medical departments.

Positioned around the concept of Future Integrative Medicine, the complex combines modern medicine with preventive and environmental medicine, as well as knowledge from physiology, behavioral science, genetics, and immunology, to realize precision and predictive medicine.

By analyzing large-scale omics data — including genomics, epigenomics, proteomics, and metabolomics — with AI, the system will identify the risks of major diseases such as cancer and dementia, enabling personalized preventive care.
A dedicated data center will also be established within the complex to support this infrastructure.

Erom Group is pursuing a partnership with Mayo Clinic, a world-renowned medical institution in the U.S., and plans to establish a Future Medicine Center to become a global hub for clinical research and education.

The project will also incorporate research outcomes from H-Space Lab (Healing Space Lab), which designs architecture as a therapeutic element.
From the perspective of architectural medicine and spatial medicine, the goal is to create environments that promote immune balance, neural stability, and restorative sleep, combining nature-friendly design with digital AI infrastructure to build one of the world’s first hospitals of its kind.

Scheduled to break ground next year and be completed by 2029, the Uiwang Medical Complex aims to enhance medical accessibility, create local employment, and strengthen the wellness infrastructure, becoming a regional hub for sustainable growth and community well-being.
